For example, a click on the Settings menu lets you share the control of the G30 with other members of your household. The robot can play a loud tune to assist you in finding it. This is helpful if the robot gets stuck in a sofa or runs out of the room.

While the G30's primary cleaning mode is Auto It also has two additional options to perform more specific tasks: Spot and Edge. The G30 can clean a particular area for up to 2 minutes if you draw an outline of a floor. The first does the same, but it stops in between to avoid overcrowding its dustbin.
The G30 like all robotic vacuums, creates maps and stores them in its memory. It doesn't come with any other navigational features, like room labeling or virtual no-go areas. The app lets you define boundary strips, but they feel more like suggestions than actual boundaries. The G30 is a smart and powerful robot vacuum, and it comes at a low cost.
